Moon Struck, 2022
Programs: Maya 2022, Substance Suite, Nuke, Houdini, RenderMan, Adobe Suite, Speedtree, Zbrush
This was created in the Summer Industry Course where Texas A&M paired with DreamWorks in a mentorship Program for students. I was the co-project manager, along with the rigger for the team and sound lead. I also contributed to animation and prop modeling.
Rigging
Here you can see my rig breakdown. It demonstrates features of the rig such as roll and twist joints, partials, IK/FK switches, foot/toe/ankle rolls, an IK spine, and various other movement features.
3D Modeling
I modeled items in scene such as crayons, jacks, a bouncy ball, an etch-a-sketch, a baseball cap with pins on it, sunglasses, board games, and a magic 8 ball. I also worked on set dressing many of these items.
Sound Design
For a variety of sounds, I used the sound booth provided by the Visualization Department to create sounds used in the short. I also found sounds on websites such as freesound.org and premiumbeat.com. I then mixed the sounds and adjusted volumes in Adobe Premiere Pro for the final short.
Project Management
Due to a short timeframe, I kept detailed records of what needed to be done and when, as well as updating them daily. Charts were colorized and included information such as a timeline, asset list, and shot list.
